Last week was my 5-month birthday, so the big 0.5 is just around the corner. I'm still working on rolling over, haven't quite mastered it yet, though I have mastered the art of eating my own hand.

Bath time after a long day.

I had a checkup at the doctor yesterday and I'm still doing well. I'm tipping the scales at 12 lbs. 13 oz., and I'm 23 inches long. I still have some catching up to do but everything's looking great!

I've been pretty chatty recently too. Mommy and Daddy have been speaking to me and I'm doing my best to answer but I don't think they can understand me. Give me time, I'm working on it.

I'm back, did you miss me? Florida was super nice and warm. My first time on an airplane went great, I was a perfect passenger. I got to wear some summer clothes and sunblock all the time so my precious skin wouldn't burn.

Happy New Year! The year I was born was done -- I'm getting old already! I had a rough beginning but now I'm healthy and happy, trying to talk to Mommy and Daddy, rolling over every once in a while, and smiling at everything. 2007 should be an eventful year too, I'll try to keep you updated.

Mommy, Daddy, and I are taking a family vacation in Florida starting tomorrow -- my first vacation and first airplane ride! I'll check in next week with New Year's and vacation pictures. Here's a pair of photos for you in the meantime:
